Item Description
This rarely seen variety of jasper quartz is colloquially known as either Polar Jade or Bird Seed Quartz. But since it bears a striking resemblance to a Dill Pickle, we'd like to be the first to introduce it by a new name, Pickle Poppy Jasper.
What makes it Pickle Poppy Jasper, you ask? It's because no pickle is perfect. Sometimes a pickle bulges more on one end, or expresses a curvier curve than its pickle-buddies. And like a pickle, this Pickle Poppy Jasper tower is a bit wonky! Depending on the angle that you view it, it can seem like it's standing straight up, or leaning to the side. It can seem that all the vertices are parallel, or that it's very top heavy (perhaps it skipped leg day?). So where does "Poppy" come into this story? Poppy Jasper is a real stone which features orbicular patterns very much like this Pickle Poppy Jasper. Plus, it sounds great together, don't you think?
