Lapis Lazuli has far reaching roots in ancient history, being used in jewelry, talismans, and sacred rituals. It's a stone that connected our ancestors to the gods and higher dimensions, helping us channel divine energies and bring us to a state of total harmony with the cosmos. Lapis Lazuli is a deep, rich, saturated royal-blue color, which is taken from the mineral Lazurite. Fascinating textures and colors arise from inclusions of pyrite and calcite - all components that make up this highly sought mineral.
The apex tip of this tower, despite it looking "chipped," is not actually chipped at all; it's in fact, capped with a natural inclusion of clear calcite with a backdrop of pyrite - creating a window, or mirror in the crystal itself.
This Lapis Tower stands at 4.45 inches, and features six sides forming an apex point with a base height of 0.5 inches. The base dimensions of the tower measure approximately 1.05 to 1.10 inches in length and width. Curiously, it stands with a slight angle (as seen in the photos) which is mostly evident when standing next to other towers of perfect 90 degree angles. Perhaps this is not a setback, but a way to tap into energies on both the 'x' and 'y' planes.
